AIPIA IS A WORLDWIDE ASSOCIATION PROMOTING HIGH TECH PACKAGING SOLUTIONS

AIPIA'S MISSION IS TO DECIMATE SUPPLY CHAIN COSTS, REDUCE WASTE AND INCREASE ITS MEMBERS' PROFITABILITY BY THE IMPLEMENTATION OF HIGH TECH SOLUTIONS IN PACKAGING

We believe that active and intelligent technologies in packaging are a ‘once in a generation’  change in the sector. Not only will they alter the role of packaging in the marketplace, but also facilitate better business through premium pricing, supply chain management, improved security/brand protection and waste reduction.

To reach this goal key-players in the FOOD,  DRINK,  PHARMACEUTICAL , COSMETIC and other related industries have joined hands. Their target is extremely easy to understand: take advantage of the use of active and intelligent packaging solutions. AIPIA is the focus for information on the latest developments and knowledge exchange.

AIPIA now features CONTENT-ON-DEMAND. Please mail press releases, product launches, A&IP company information or developments to and it will be considered for inclusion on this website and may feature in our Monthly Newsletter.

There is no let up in the pace of Active & Intelligent Packaging developments. The BIG difference is that we are seeing more and more announcements about applications rather than A&IP products. Our top story this issue has already been widely reported but no one in our sector should underestimate the importance of Thin Films security tag on Johnnie Walker Blue Label bottles. Where Diageo have gone.....others will follow. Happy reading...

BUT FIRST: We are pleased to announce the dates of the next AIPIA Congress, which will take place in The Netherlands on 9th and 10th November 2015. We are already busy planning an exciting and topical program which you will find irresistible! Watch this space for news as the program develops, but in the meantime PLEASE put the dates and venue in your diary.

Director AIPIA
